What: UAA IT Services will be coordinating with GCI to upgrade the network equipment supporting the links between the Anchorage, Kenai Peninsula, Mat-Su, Kodiak, and Prince William Sound campuses beginning Tuesday, January 31 from 10:00 PM to 11:59 PM.
Why: GCI is upgrading their equipment.
Result: Network Engineers anticipate a brief 15 minute network outage while connections are changed from the old equipment to the new equipment.
Any Issues: If you experience any internet issues at any of the campuses outside of Anchorage after the network equipment upgrade, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Technical Support Center.
