There have been no updates to Blackboard's status, but Canvas has remained stable and reachable. Blackboard is still monitoring the stability of their fixes, and their current status can be found here: https://status.blackboard.com/
We are maintaining a 'monitoring' status until they report all-green.

UA's Canvas instance is now available and operational, resolving the major component issues we have been tracking here. Blackboard is still monitoring the stability of their fixes, and their current status can be found here: https://status.blackboard.com/

Services for Blackboard (classes.alaska.edu) have been restored, but remain potentially unstable-- OIT PAWS and Networking have removed the Status Page redirect on Blackboard, so it should be accessible again. Canvas and other mentioned services are still unavailable at this time.

AWS states that it has mitigated the main problem, and many services are recovering-- the services listed here still appear to be in a unavailable and degraded states. Qualtrics and Digication are also affected by the AWS outage.
Instructure Canvas appears to also be affected by this outage and the UAF instance is fully unavailable at this time.
