Identified - Update - We have identified the root cause and began implementing the solution for correcting course listings and curated catalog views in Continuing Education (Genius).
Course listing and catalog pages should filter to the expected list for the specific campus or programs.
Learners may need to have an affiliation added to their account if they are not able to see the courses expected or encounter an error when attempting to register from a custom link. This issue is under continued investigation for resolution.
Errors or support requests related to these issues can be emailed to uaa.techsupport@alaska.edu for assistance.
Updates will be posted here as available.

Update - UAF NTS has resolved a recent issue caused by an unexpected change with Duo authentication that impacted managed macOS computer logins across campus.
If you use a university-managed Mac, your login experience is now restored to normal operations. However, the first time you log back into your computer following this fix, you may see one or two additional Duo authentication prompts.
When signing into your managed Mac for the first time today:
1. Enter your usual account credentials at the primary macOS login screen.
2. Complete the Duo prompt(s): You may be prompted to authenticate through Duo an extra time as system permissions refresh and re-sync with your account.
3. Approve the request on your Duo mobile app, hardware token, or via your preferred MFA method as normal.
4. Select Next at the Let’s keep your account secure prompt.
5. Select Next at the Set up a sign-in method prompt.
If you continue to encounter login errors, repeated prompts to sync passwords on login, or any other issues logging into your Mac, please reach out the Technical Support Center.

Identified - Microsoft is discontinuing the M365 A1 Plus license, and some users are being transitioned from the M365 A1 "Plus" license to the M365 A1 license. This results in a loss of access to the desktop version of Office 365 applications, but all users should still be able to use the web-based apps at https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps/ (requires UA login).
This change affects Crafts & Trades staff, Adjunct/Temporary Faculty, and Emeritus Faculty members. If you're not a member of these groups and are experiencing issues with the Microsoft Office suite, please reach out to your campus's IT helpdesk!
You can find more information about the license change here: https://www.uaf.edu/nooktech/news/microsoft-365-a1-license-changes.php
As well as status reports by the license holder, UAA, here: https://status.uaa.alaska.edu/
Due to the longstanding nature of this change and resulting disruption, we will be updating this status only as new information becomes available. We are actively communicating with UAA about the situation, and appreciate your time and understanding as we navigate this unexpected transition. Thank you!

Identified - We are aware of an ongoing issue affecting Microsoft A1 Plus licenses. As a result, some users may temporarily lose access to desktop Office applications, especially Adjunct Faculty and Crafts & Trades employees.
However, you can continue to use all Microsoft 365 online apps (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) through your web browser by opening from OneDrive or going to https://m365.cloud.microsoft/create.
Our team is actively working with Microsoft and organizational leadership to identify and implement a long-term solution. We appreciate your patience while this issue is being addressed.
An update will be posted when it is resolved.
