What: UAA IT Services is changing how Blackboard receives course, user, and enrollment information from Banner. This work began Monday, October 12, at 7 AM and runs through Monday, October 26, at 4 PM.
Why: A new connection between Banner and Blackboard will update courses and enrollments as changes happen in Banner, instead of in scheduled batches.
Result: Spring 2027 courses are being created in Blackboard during this time. Faculty: please avoid editing your Spring 2027 courses through Monday, October 19. You can keep using Blackboard for your current Fall 2026 courses as usual.
Any Issues: If a Spring 2027 course, roster, or enrollment doesn't appear as expected after October 19, don't hesitate to get in touch with the Technical Support Center.
