One service interruption of approximately 30-45 minutes is anticipated during the maintenance window for anyone attempting to connect to/from PNWGP/Internet2 or Amazon.
Beginning 5/21/2025 at 11:30 PM AKDT and concluding at 2:00 AM AKDT on 5/22/2025, Alaska Communications will be performing network maintenance to upgrade Homer, Southeast Alaska, and Seattle, WA SOAS from 10.8 to 10.10.
An alternate window beginning 5/22/2025 at 11:30 PM AM AKDT and concluding at 2:00 AM AKDT on 5/23/2025 has also been established. In the event that the network maintenance is unable to be completed on the primary maintenance date, the alternate maintenance date will be used to complete the designated work.
This work has been deemed essential and must be completed as scheduled.
