An Alaska Communications (ACS) third party provider will perform emergency third-party maintenance on Monday, August 24, 2026, 11:00 PM through Tuesday, August 25, 2026, 4:00 AM AKDT to upgrade network equipment supporting our Internet2 circuits. This work is required to increase capacity and improve network reliability and cannot be rescheduled.
A service interruption of up to 20 minutes is expected at some point during this window. During that time, network users at all three MAUs and associated remote campuses/offices will lose connectivity to Internet2 and AWS resources.
